Dr. Dolan has been teaching English Composition and British Literature at the American University of Iraq-Sulaimani until he was fired due what AUI-S administration calls "racist" stands of Dr. Dolan.
Dr. Dolan answers questions on his relations with AUI-S Watch blog and Mark Grueter, another fired lecturer at AUI-S.
Dr. Dolan explains many points in his anti-AUI-S article from his relations with students to the rape accident mentioned in his article.
Many students had expressed their disappointment to some references made by Dr. Dolan to AUI-S students.
"It was no way my attention to disgrace the students," he said.
Dr. Dolan also expresses his views on the AUI-S students. While describing AUI-S students as "energetic, fearless and loyal to each other,", he described some of the teachers as "dedicated to their job."
